Publication date - 26 September 2010

Probably the most authentic sounding UK act on the circut have released a sensational collection 15 rockin' tracks that can't fail to get you bashing the steering wheel on that dreary drive to work!

Fourteen of the tracks are originals all could have been written a half a century or more ago, the song writing is so authentic, but the sound quallity of this record is bang up to date sharp, crisp and superbly produced by Alan Wilson at his studio.

Rusti's vocals capture the feel of the era more acurately than most of the vocalist you'll hear around, the excellent band are spot on throughout.

Opening with the title track a great hot rodding western swing hillbilly romp with the steel guitar to the fore ground, this style is sprinkled throughout and is Rusti's trade mark, Speed Crazy Baby and Wedding Bells Ring are fine examples .

There is some pure rockabilly tracks on here as well, check out ,Can't go Out, Whirl, I'll Do Anything for You, Share Your Life With Me.

Ballads are here too, Missing You Blues, that provokes images of The Jordanaires on all those early Presley songs and the only cover on the album, A Lovers Question such a great song and carried off well here.

This is a fine album by an measure a strong contender for my album of the year. If you like acts like Big Sandy then this will certainly appeal to you.
